The order is received and sent to the destination that the trader chooses. The destinations in the listed market place include: NYSE, NYSE Direct+, Amex, CHX, BSE, PHLX and ArcaEx. Although OES specializes in the listed place, OES has routes to ARCA, BRUT, Island, CHX, and the Amex for OTC executions (more destinations are coming soon). Once an electronic order is filled, an execution report is sent back to the introducing and/or clearing broker-dealer for position update/clearing.
